In October 2023, СÀ¶ÊÓƵ China Centre invited a delegation of top Chinese enterprises to СÀ¶ÊÓƵ to attend the very first СÀ¶ÊÓƵ China Apprenticeship Scheme (ACAS) event on campus! The delegates are: China International Trust and Investment Corporation (CITIC Securities), LONGi Green Energy Technology, Think Academy, Trina Solar and Trip.com Group. 

In this one-day event, Chinese business and СÀ¶ÊÓƵ students had the great opportunity to communicate in person. The delegates presented their companies in the morning session to more than 200 audience. The presentations provided a comprehensive and detailed overview of their company, showcasing their autumn recruitment opportunities to attract excellent СÀ¶ÊÓƵ students. 

More than 550 students came to the ACAS Job Fair in the afternoon. They were very excited to talk to the enterprises face-to-face, getting better understanding of the enterprises and showcasing the skills and knowledge they’d obtained in СÀ¶ÊÓƵ to make them excellent candidates for the jobs! 

Sunny Li from СÀ¶ÊÓƵ China Centre and СÀ¶ÊÓƵ Careers & Employability team also offered consultation services to the students – from CV writing to interview skills, from overview of Chinese employability market to the case study of ACAS success stories, from how to join ACAS to the wide range of career resources they could enjoy in СÀ¶ÊÓƵ.
