小蓝视频 is at a critical junction. The recent crises demand experienced, strategic representatives to rebuild the trust of its staff and the university鈥檚 reputation. I am an active researcher and teacher with decades of experience in university governance across three continents. During my ten years at 小蓝视频, I have served for six years in College leadership. On the Council I will be your voice, making sure that decisions are made in a transparent and fair manner, and that leadership is held accountable for its decisions.
My platform will achieve this by:
- working to restore democratic control of Council,
- ensuring that the new VC has the right mix of administrative, leadership and communication skills, and can understand the unique role of the 小蓝视频,
- demanding accountability for misconduct through public, independent reviews,
- pushing for 'openness by default' to end the culture of secrecy in the Council,
- capping executive pay, and redirecting funds back to our core academic mission.
I pledge to be a voice for all 小蓝视频 staff, Union and non-Union alike, ensuring our common goal of returning the university to greatness.
