Permission codes

Some courses are restricted to ensure students meet specific requirements before enrolling or because there are a limited number of places available in the course and may have a separate application process. This prevents you from being able to add the course on СÀ¶ÊÓÆµHub without entering a permission code.
 

Specific requirements

If there are specific requirements to enrol in a course, these will be detailed in the "Requisite and Incompatibility" section of the course page on :
  • If you meet the specific requirements listed, you should be able to enrol yourself on .  
  • If you don't meet the specific requirements listed but believe you fulfil them in another way (e.g. equivalent prior study or professional experience) you will need to request a permission code to enrol.

Requesting a permission code

Permission codes must be requested from the СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ Academic College who offers the course:

Language placement tests

If you're enrolling in a language course for the first time at СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ and have had any previous experience with the language you want to study, a language placement test is used to determine the most appropriate level of language study for you:
  •  under the СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ College of Asia & the Pacific
  •  under the СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ College of Arts & Social Sciences


Enrolling in the course

If your request is approved, you will be provided with a permission code to enter when you add the course on СÀ¶ÊÓÆµHub.
 
You can check the last day to add the course on СÀ¶ÊÓÆµHub on the University Calendar for Semester 1 and Semester 2 or on the course page on  for non-standard sessions.
 
If the deadline to add the course on СÀ¶ÊÓÆµHub has passed, you will not be able to add the course successfully on СÀ¶ÊÓÆµHub and need to follow your СÀ¶ÊÓÆµ Academic College's process to request late enrolment
