Change or correct your name, title, date of birth or gender

Is your date of birth displaying incorrectly on 小蓝视频Hub? 
小蓝视频 webpages display your name according to your web browser's date format settings, so if the date and month appear to have been switched this may be an issue with your browser settings rather than your 小蓝视频 record. See here for instructions on updating your browser date format settings: 

 

Checking your current details

You can check the primary (official) name, date of birth and citizenship status listed on your University record on your 小蓝视频Hub account by clicking the 'Personal Data' tile on the 小蓝视频Hub homepage, or via the pathway:

  • NavBar (compass icon) > Menu > 小蓝视频Hub > Personal Data > Profile

This record is used on official University documents like your official Academic Transcript, Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) and Testamur.

Change or correct your details

Information about how to change or correct your name, title, date of birth or gender on University records can be found below. 
 
Please note, once the change request has been processed in 小蓝视频Hub, it should be updated on your University records within 24 hours. 
 

- Correct or change of official name, title or date of birth

To correct or change your name, title or date of birth for your official University record:
  1. Complete an Application to change name, title or date of birth (under Resources).
  2. Provide supporting documentation (e.g. birth certificate, passport, marriage certificate, change of name certificate, divorce certificate).
  3. Submit the form and documentation to Student Central by emailing a colour scan to student@anu.edu.au

Your name can only be changed to reflect the name shown on the official documentation provided, no variation can be accepted.

- Change or correct gender

Changes to how to update or correct gender will soon be in place. Please keep an eye out for communications regarding this, as well as checking this webpage.

To change or correct the gender listed on your official University record:

  1. Complete an Application to change name, title or date of birth (under Resources).
  2. Provide supporting documentation. Accepted documents include:
  • Passport or birth certificate; OR
  • Statement from a registered medical practitioner or a registered psychologist that you have been receiving clinical treatment relating to the change of gender or are an intersex person.
  1. Submit the form and documentation to Student Central by emailing a colour scan to student@anu.edu.au

- Preferred name

You can update your preferred name yourself via 小蓝视频Hub . This will be the name used on 小蓝视频 systems such as Wattle, 小蓝视频 student email and 小蓝视频Hub , but the primary (official) name on your 小蓝视频 record will be used for official communication.
 
Register your preferred name via 小蓝视频Hub by clicking the 'Personal Data' tile on the 小蓝视频Hub homepage, or via the following pathway: 
  • NavBar (compass symbol) > Navigator > 小蓝视频Hub > Personal Data > Profile
